Ringsek Truck After Hitting a Road Barrier in Cilincing, the Driver is Stuck in the Cabin

JAKARTA - A box truck unit had a single accident on Jalan Akses Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, morning. As a result of the incident, the driver of the car was trapped in the narrow cabin.

Based on the report compiled by VOI, the incident occurred at around 06.30 WIB. According to information, the accident occurred due to the driver of the truck being sleepy.

Furthermore, the speed of the car lost control and hit the road barrier on the left side. As a result of the accident, the front of the box truck was damaged until the driver was trapped in the cabin.

Fortunately, the driver of the truck who was stuck was successfully evacuated by officers assisted by other drivers. The victim was then taken to Cilincing Hospital, North Jakarta.

Meanwhile, traffic flow experienced a long traffic jam due to the accident of the box truck.

The Head of the Laka Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Edy Wibowo, said that until now no reports had been received by the Laka Unit of the North Jakarta Police Traffic Unit regarding the incident.

"Until now, there has been no report to the Jakut police unit," he said briefly when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
