NMAA Brings Indonesian Creativity and Modified Products to the Osaka Auto Messe Stage
JAKARTA - The National Modificator & Aftermarket Association (NMAA) has carved an international achievement through the 'NMAA Great of Indonesia' program at the 2026 Osaka Auto Messe (OAM), which took place on February 13-15, 2026 at Intex Osaka, Japan.
This event is a proof that Indonesian creativity and modified products, which have now become key players in the international market and are able to set new standards in the global automotive industry.
Project Director IMX and Director of Modification & Electric Vehicles IMI Center, Andre Mulyadi, said the presence at OAM 2026 was a declaration that the Indonesian modification and aftermarket industry was no longer just a cage champion, but a new force that the world took into account.
"We are bringing a work that combines future technology with strong cultural roots," he said, in an official statement received, Wednesday, February 18.
As a form of appreciation for the world's modification standards, NMAA gave two prestigious awards to the best modified cars at OAM 2026, namely NMAA Favorite Built To Perfection was given to the green RX-7 Miyoshi car. This car is modified very neatly and precisely, starting from the wide body kit exterior to other custom details that are perfect.
The NMAA Favorite Proper Modified Car was given to Kuhl Outroad Toyota GR 86, a car that was modified for racing but has offroad capabilities thanks to various adjustments to the foot and other components.
The main attraction at the Indonesian booth is the Toyota 86 named "Milly" with the concept of "Harmony of Waves". This car represents the relationship between Indonesia and Japan as an archipelago country. The design combines the aesthetics of Ukiyo-e Waves and Cirebon Mega Clouds, symbolizing the harmony of two cultures that inspire each other. Milly's beauty is made perfect by the presence of the fashion industry through batik dresses by Shizka Prive.
The success in Osaka became a great energy towards IMX 2026: "Next Gen Culture" which will be held at ICE BSD on October 9-11, 2026. For the first time, this exhibition will occupy a massive scale in Halls 1, 2, and 3.
Chairman of the Osaka Auto Messe Executive Committee, Toshiya Miyaki, appreciated the presence of NMAA Great of Indonesia at OAM. NMAA booth at Osaka Auto Messe 2026 looks proper and interesting.
"Especially the concept of booths and modified cars that are in line, in addition to that, the display of products that are brought in are interesting to look at," said Miyaki.
Road to IMX 2026
After the Osaka Auto Messe 2026 event, the Road to IMX 2026 will greet Yogyakarta City at Prambanan Temple on April 26, 2026, then Surabaya City at Jatim Expo on May 30-31, 2026, and the IMX 2026 event will be held on October 9-11, 2026 at ICE BSD Hall 1, 2, and 3. In addition, IMX 2026 will strengthen the steps of Globalizing Local Builders with the IMX USA Series program series on November 3-6, 2026.
