Nissan Gravite MPV Officially Launched with a Price of Only IDR 105 Million

JAKARTA - Nissan Motor India officially launched the Nissan Gravite which is positioned as a three-row 7-seater MPV targeting the family segment at an affordable price.

Citing the Autocar India website, Wednesday, February 18, this model uses the CMF-A+ platform and the same chassis as the Renault Triber, but with some cosmetic differences.

In terms of appearance, the front fascia comes with a large grille, angular bumper, and distinctive LED DRL lights. Inside, Gravite offers a practical 7-seat layout with a removable third row seat. The second row seats have sliding and reclining functions for flexibility.

The dashboard is designed to be simple, consisting of a three-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom, three temperature control knobs, and plenty of storage space, and on higher trims, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen in the center and a 7-inch driver's digital display.

The Gravite uses a 3-cylinder 1.0-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine from the Triber which produces 72 hp and 96 Nm, and can be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automatic transmission (AMT). For the gasoline-MT Gravite, Nissan claims a fuel consumption of 19.3 km/liter, while in the AMT version, this compact MPV produces 19.6 km/liter.

Talking about prices, this MPV is sold in India with a starting price of 565,000 rupees or around Rp. 105 million, and is offered with a standard warranty of 3 years / 100,000 km, which can be extended up to 10 years / 200,000 km.

There are many color options available, and of course can be adjusted to the characteristics of the user, ranging from Forest Green, Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Snow White, and Metallic Grey. There is also a limited Launch Edition (1,001 units) of Gravite, which adds orange accents to the C-shaped inserts.
