Bogor City DPRD Supports National Asri Movement through Clean-up Action

BOGOR - The Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Adityawarman Adil, together with the leadership and members of the DPRD attended the "Korve Kebersihan" action held with the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Monday, February 16.

The cleaning activity along the route from Tugu Kujang to the Suryakencana Street area was emphasized as a concrete form of support for the Asri National Movement. The action involved elements of the ministry, the Bogor City Government, the TNI-Polri, regional apparatus organizations, as well as sub-district and village officials.

Adityawarman emphasized that the presence of the legislative element was not merely symbolic, but a real commitment in implementing a national movement aimed at creating a clean, green, and sustainable city.

"We are compact, everyone is here this morning to do the cleaning. This is a real form of the Asri National Movement. This activity is not just a ceremony, but a direct action that shows our seriousness in maintaining the cleanliness and environment of the city," said Adityawarman.

According to him, the Asri National Movement demands cross-sectoral collaboration so that the impact is felt widely and sustainably. Therefore, synergy between the central government, local government, legislature, and the community is a key factor in the success of the program.

He added that this korve action was also a momentum to build collective awareness of the community that cleanliness and environmental sustainability are a shared responsibility, in line with the spirit of the Asri National Movement which encourages consistent and sustainable behavioral changes.
