DKI Satpol PP Intensifies Miras Razia During Ramadan
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Police (Satpol PP) has started to intensify liquor raids (miras) ahead of Ramadan 2026. Head of the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP Satriadi Gunawan said that the discipline was already running and would be increased during the fasting month.
According to Satriadi, the sale of liquor legally must have a permit through the OSS (online single submission) system. If there is a violation, the business place will also be revoked with the action of Satpol PP in the field.
"Currently, we have also started, conducting operations in conjunction with the TNI and Polri. Well, then for security or enforcement of alcoholic beverages, yes, as long as there is no permit, we will do it to a place that does not have the appropriate permit," said Satriadi to reporters, Monday, February 16.
Satriadi ensured that the intensity of supervision would be increased before and during Ramadan, with a tiered coordination pattern at the sub-district level with TNI and Polri elements. The focus of the crackdown is on places of sale of liquor without official permission.
"All in all, we will investigate. If the places that sell liquor are like stalls, which are indeed those that do not exist, they do not have a permit. Well, then we will do a crackdown," said Satriadi.
On the one hand, the DKI Provincial Government also has special provisions regarding night entertainment during Ramadan. The operational provisions are regulated in the Circular Letter (SE) from the DKI Tourism and Creative Economy Office (Disparekraf).
"we also coordinate with the PTSP (One-Stop Service) Office. If, for example, he violates it, then the permit will be, will be revoked, we will only carry out discipline," said Satriadi.
In addition to liquor raids, Satpol PP also appealed to the public not to hold sahur on the road (SOTR) which has the potential to disrupt public order. This activity is often in the spotlight because it triggers convoys and commotion on the road. "Yes, of course we will enforce it. We will ban it," he continued.
Furthermore, Satriadi revealed that a total of 1,900 joint personnel were deployed for routine patrols every night during Ramadan in the DKI Jakarta area. This patrol is carried out to maintain public order and security during evening activities during the fasting month.
"Every day there are 1,900 regular patrol personnel, every night, in all areas. Our command center always reports, there are security patrols. That's definitely what we do routinely," he said.
Satriadi explained that the figure of 1,900 did not only come from Satpol PP. Security was carried out in a coordinated manner with the TNI and Polri elements in the Three Pillars scheme.
The number and composition of joint personnel in each region are adjusted to the needs and conditions in the field, as well as the potential vulnerability in each region through multi-level coordination to the sub-district and village levels.
"Each region carries out coordination with the Polsek, with all levels with Koramil and Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas, all the camats also carry out patrols," said Satriadi.
