Pramono Anung admits he can't sleep after Persija lost to Arema FC

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung admitted that he was carried away by the atmosphere when Persija Jakarta suffered a defeat from Arema FC in the continuation of the Super League on February 8. He even said he couldn't sleep after the capital's pride team lost 0-2.

Pramono made this statement in his speech at the Silaturahmi Akbar Kaum Betawi event. Pramono also realized that he was often labeled as the Governor of DKI who was too far away from taking care of Persija.

"I am now criticized for being the Governor who takes care of Persija too much. Yes, when I take care of others? Yes, of course I will take care of Persija," said Pramono at the MH Thamrin Museum, Senen, Central Jakarta, Sunday, February 15.

Pramono admitted that the defeat was quite disturbing his mind. In fact, he joked that Persija's fall when playing at home last week drained his emotions.

"Yesterday, I lost 2-0 against Arema, I couldn't sleep. I'm already losing Persija, I met Diky, the chairman of Jakmania, ouch, that's really good," said Pramono.
