Mitski Concert Tickets in Jakarta Officially Sold, Record Prices and Schedules

JAKARTA - Good news for lovers of indie music in the country. The singer and songwriter from the United States, Mitski, is confirmed to greet his fans in Indonesia in the world tour series titled "Nothing's About to Happen to Me".

This much-anticipated concert is scheduled to take place at the Tennis Indoor Senayan, Central Jakarta on Saturday, July 18.

Promoters Ismaya Live and AEG Presents Asia have officially opened ticket sales for fans.

The sales phase begins with the Artist Pre-Sale on Wednesday, February 11, which is then followed by the Spotify Pre-Sale on Thursday, February 12.

Meanwhile, for the general public, ticket sales or General On Sale officially opened starting Friday, February 13 at 10.00 WIB through the official Ismaya Live page.

Mitski's presence in Jakarta is part of the promotion of her eighth studio album, "Nothing's About to Happen to Me", which is scheduled to be released in full on February 27.

The album is touted as an artistic continuation of his previous work, "The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We", which received widespread praise from music critics around the world.

"This world tour marks Mitski's long-awaited return to Asia, with her appearance in this region for the first time in recent years," the organizers wrote in a press release received by VOI, Sunday, February 15.

In addition to Jakarta, the musician who has been nominated for an Academy Award will also visit other major cities in Asia such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Manila.

The price of concert tickets in Jakarta varies depending on the category chosen. For the 3 Tribune category, it is priced at Rp900,000, while the Festival (standing) and Tribune 2 categories are priced at Rp1,050,000. The highest category, namely Tribune 1, is sold for Rp1,300,000.

For information, Mitski is known as the figure "the most alluring and mysterious musician in the indie rock scene" by Rolling Stone magazine.

Throughout his career, he has made brilliant achievements, including the song "My Love Mine All Mine" which became a global sensation with four platinum certifications.
