AFPI Partners with KrediOne to Provide Education on the Dangers of Illegal Lending and Wise Lending
JAKARTA - KrediOne together with the Indonesian Joint Funding Fintech Association (AFPI), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and Bandung State Polytechnic (Polban) held a financial education program entitled "Pindar Mengajar: Smart Management, Wise Transactions".
The activity, which was attended by 200 Polban students, was part of efforts to strengthen financial literacy for the younger generation in the midst of rapid development of digital financial services, including in distinguishing between pindar and illegal loans.
KrediOne CEO Kuseryansyah said, based on the results of the 2025 National Survey on Financial Literacy and Inclusion (SNLIK), the level of financial literacy of the Indonesian people was recorded at 66.46 percent. Meanwhile, the financial inclusion rate is 80 percent.
"This shows that there is still a gap in understanding the financial products and services used," he said, Saturday, February 14.
Therefore, he continued, education and literacy activities need to be carried out continuously so that understanding about the impact, risks, and responsibilities, especially in using pindar services responsibly and avoiding the dangers of illegal loans.
"In the digital era, the ease of access to financial services must be balanced with a strong understanding of financial planning and discipline," continued Kuseryansyah.
Through this educational activity, Kuseryansyah said KrediOne encourages young people who have income to use online loan services productively and responsibly, as well as provide education on the dangers and risks of illegal loans.
He hopes that cross-sector collaboration will continue to be strengthened in building a healthy, transparent, and responsible online lending ecosystem, as well as inviting the public to avoid illegal loans.
