PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik Changes its Name to PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva
JAKARTA - The Subholding of PT Pelindo Solusi Logistik (SPSL) has officially transformed into PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva, which is an effort to strengthen the company's representation as a provider of port support service solutions.
"The name Sinergi Lokaseva is considered to be able to more accurately represent the company's position as a strategic holding that has two main portfolios, namely port support services and hinterland development," said President Director of PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva Joko Noerhudha in an official statement, quoted by Antara, Saturday, February 14.
He revealed that this name change was motivated by the need for a more appropriate corporate identity to reflect the company's role and business portfolio.
Joko Noerhudha added that in the future, PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva will optimize the development of a portfolio of port support services as well as hinterland development, both through the port-led industrial/logistic infrastructure concept and port-cities dynamic, to create an integrated, harmonious, and sustainable port and urban ecosystem.
"The integrated services provided by the group entities are increasingly strengthening in connecting the port ecosystem with the national supply chain," he said.
He explained that the name Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva has a strong philosophy. Lokaseva is an absorption of Sanskrit, consisting of the word Loka which means the world or region, as well as Seva which means service.
In terms of meaning, Lokaseva can be interpreted as an integrated service for various regions.
This philosophy reflects the company's commitment to providing port support services not only in the management of goods flows, but also in the development of its supporting areas as a form of ecosystem synergy to create supply chain efficiency, added value, and effectiveness.
"We hope that this transformation will provide sustainable added value for customers, stakeholders, the community, and support the growth of the port ecosystem and its supporting areas in Indonesia," said Joko Noerhudha.
