Salmon Noodle 3.0 Halal Label Opens Flagship Store, Ready for Global Expansion
JAKARTA - Ombilin Global Food celebrates one year of the presence of Salmon Noodle 3.0 Halal Label in Indonesia by opening a flagship store at Pacific Place, Jakarta.
This opening also marks the readiness for expansion into international markets, including Asia, Europe, and Canada.
Salmon Noodle 3.0 Halal Label is the result of collaboration with Shota Saka, a Japanese chef who won a Michelin Star. This brand has been present in Indonesia since 2025 as a halal reinterpretation of French-style Japanese ramen.
CEO of Ombilin Global Food, Budi Isman, said Indonesia was chosen as a benchmark market because of the high interest in Japanese cuisine and strong halal standards.
"In one year, the company has opened five outlets and is preparing for domestic expansion to Cikarang and Surabaya, before stepping into global markets such as Japan, France, and Canada," said Budi when met by VOI, recently in Jakarta.
According to Shota Saka, the development of the halal version requires a year-long research, including adjustments to ingredients, cooking techniques, to the kitchen process to comply with halal principles without sacrificing taste quality. Some of the favorite menus in Indonesia include Premium Truffle Cheese Salmon Noodle and Premium Basil Cheese Salmon Noodles.
