Appearing at IIMS, Two Flagship Products from Changan Lumin and Deepal S07 Received Positive Response

JAKARTA - Changan, a Chinese automotive brand under the Indomobil Group, brought two flagship models to the 2026 IIMS exhibition, namely Lumin and Deepal S07, both of which are claimed to have received positive response.

"Through Changan Lumin, we offer practical urban mobility with unique design and outstanding fast charging features. Meanwhile, Deepal S07 comes as a new standard for premium E-SUV with futuristic design and smart technology," said Changan Indonesia CEO Setiawan Surya, in a statement, Friday, January 13.

From VOI's observation, the Changan booth is often crowded with visitors and it turns out that both of them got a positive impression from some visitors who had tried it directly in the test drive area.

One of them is Vina Lavender, a visitor to IIMS 2026 from East Jakarta who tried Deepal S07. His interest arose since he first entered the e-SUV cabin which he thought had very complete technology.

"The interior is neat and the quality of the materials is good. The first impression is luxurious, the features are very many because it is a modern car. The steering and suspension are okay, so it's comfortable," said Vina.

Changan Deepal S07 indeed comes with various design and technology innovations designed to pamper drivers and passengers. Deepal S07 carries the concept of Luxury Yacht Interior with Yacht Style Wrap Around Design which is enriched with 64-color ambient light lighting, presenting a premium feel inside the cabin. This SUV is also supported by an intelligent 15.6-inch Sunflower Screen touch screen connectivity powered by the Qualcomm 8155 chipset and can be directed up to 15 degrees to the driver's side and the front passenger to facilitate access to various features.

The positive impression also came from Riki Karundeng, one of the visitors. He assessed that the combination of features, comfort, and cabin quality offered was worth the price. In addition, the suspension and cabin damping also support driving comfort.

"The first time I sat down, I immediately felt comfortable, and the interior felt luxurious. For that price, what we can get in my opinion is okay. Features, comfort, to the quality of the cabin. The suspension is fun, not hard. The cabin is also soundproof, so the trip is more relaxed," said Riki.

One of them is Astrid Nuraini who revealed that Lumin is a compact, stable, and ideal car as a travel companion, and is very suitable for daily mobility needs in urban areas.

"The size of the car is small, but when it is used on a road that is somewhat damaged, it does not shake excessively. It feels stable," said Astrid.

As is known, the Changan Lumin is priced at Rp183 million, while the Deepal S07 is priced at Rp599 million. Changan also provides peace of mind through a long-term warranty on each of its products.
