"In 2026, the National Police targets to continue construction to reach 1,500 SPPGs throughout Indonesia. "If all SPPGs are operational, it is projected to provide benefits for 2,947,500 people and absorb 58,950 workers," said Listyo.
He emphasized that the development of SPPG not only focuses on quantity, but also quality and equity. This is realized, among other things, through the construction of 33 SPPG units in the lagging, leading, and outermost (3T) regions, as well as the implementation of location surveys in Papua Mountains, West Papua, and Central Papua.
"This is a manifestation of the commitment of the National Police in supporting the equitable access to nutritional services to the regions," he said.
Apart from the construction of SPPG, the National Police also strengthened supporting infrastructure through the construction of 18 food security warehouses in 12 Polda. The National Police targets the number of food security warehouses to increase to 28 units by 2026.
With a target of 1,500 SPPG by 2026, the National Police is optimistic that the program can strengthen national food security while improving people's nutritional quality.
"This step is being taken to expand the reach of nutritional fulfillment services and ensure that more people have access to nutritious food," he concluded.
