Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus Global Version Will Use Exynos 2600 Processor

JAKARTA - Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus muncul di platform benchmark Geekbench menjelang Galaxy Unpacked yang akan digelar pada 26 Februari. Kemunculan membuat prosesor yang digunakan terungkap.

The Galaxy S26 Plus is listed with the model number SM-S947B, as reported via Gizmochina. The device will use a new chipset that Samsung has developed in-house, the Exynos 2600.

The presence of the Exynos 2600 is quite interesting because this is the world's first 2nm-fabricated processor. This processor has a 10-core configuration that can be accelerated to a clock speed of 3.80GHz.

However, Exynos is not the only processor used in this version. Samsung only uses Exynos for the global version, while devices that come in the US will still use the Snapdragon processor.

The US edition of the Galaxy S26 was previously seen using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 on the Geekbench platform. Unlike the standard model, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is predicted to use the Snapdragon in all markets around the world.

Based on Geekbench 6.5 data, the Galaxy S26 Plus scored 2,304 for single-core and 9,015 for multi-core. This performance is supported by 12GB of RAM which promises a multi-tasking experience.

This phone is known to run One UI 8.5 based on the Android 16 operating system (OS). This combination of software and hardware is expected to provide better power efficiency than the previous generation.
