Ahead of Ramadan, Street Vendors on Kelapa Gading Road are Disciplined by Satpol PP
JAKARTA - The North Jakarta City Satpol PP carried out a crackdown on street vendors (PKL) at a number of points in the West Kelapa Gading area, Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta on Thursday, February 12, 2026, morning.
The crackdown targeted a number of cart traders who often hang out on the shoulders of the road in the Kelapa Gading Barat area.
When they were disciplined, the traders had refused because they needed to make a living before Ramadan. However, the officers still carried out discipline to restore the function of the road and enforce the Tibum Regulation.

The regulation activity was also assisted by the TNI, Polri, Dishub to the PPSU of the sub-district and village in Kelapa Gading.
