Khofifah Becomes a Witness in the Corruption Trial of Grant Funds at the Surabaya Tipikor Court

SURABAYA - East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa has fulfilled the call of the KPK Public Prosecutor as a witness in the trial of alleged corruption of the 2019 East Java DPRD Mind Tree grant funds at the Tipikor District Court.

Khofifah arrived at the Sidoarjo Tipikor PN, around 13.00 WIB, Thursday, February 12 and immediately went to the Cakra court room after greeting the journalists who had been waiting for his arrival.

The panel of judges, headed by Ferdinand Marcus L., then opened the trial and asked the KPK prosecutor to present witnesses.

The prosecutor then summoned Khofifah Indar Parawansa to enter the courtroom. He sat in the trial chair and took the oath as a witness before the panel of judges.

Khofifah's arrival at the Tipikor PN was greeted by hundreds of people who were members of the Gus and Santri and Muslimat Lines.

The Head of the East Java Provincial Government Legal Bureau, Adi Sarono, also accompanied the East Java Governor when he arrived at the court.

At the trial, the Governor of East Java gave testimony to clarify the statement of the late Kusnadi as stated in the examination report (BAP) which was previously read in the trial.
