VinFast Opens Pre-Order for Premium 7-Passenger Electric MPV VF 7 at IIMS 2026

JAKARTA - Vietnamese automotive manufacturer VinFast officially opened the VF MPV 7 booking at the 2026 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS). This model is a premium electric MPV for seven passengers that is specifically designed for individual consumers and urban families in Indonesia.

The VF MPV 7 is a premium evolution of the Green Limo that has been thoroughly refined in terms of design, features, and technology. This car was developed to provide a wide, safe, and advanced electric mobility solution for urban families.

VinFast Indonesia CEO, Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto, stated that Indonesia is one of the most dynamic MPV markets in the region.

"We believe the VF MPV 7 will set a new benchmark for the MPV segment in Indonesia, not only in terms of design and technology, but also in providing a sustainable electric mobility experience," he said in an official statement, some time ago.

Dimensionally, the VF MPV 7 has a length of 4,740 mm, a width of 1,872 mm, a height of 1,734 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. This size ensures a spacious cabin for seven passengers.

The interior is designed to be modern and driver-centric, with a D-cut leather-wrapped steering wheel complete with multifunction buttons, an electronic gear selector in the steering column, and a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Comfort is enhanced through the use of synthetic leather seats, an automatic air conditioning system with a PM2.5 filter, and air conditioning vents to the third row. For luggage needs, the luggage capacity can be expanded to 1,240 liters by folding the rear seats, providing flexibility for family travel and daily activities.

In terms of performance, the VF MPV 7 is equipped with a 150 kW (201 hp) electric motor with 280 Nm of torque, which promises smooth and responsive acceleration typical of electric vehicles. The 60.2 kWh battery allows for a range of up to 450 km on a single full charge based on NEDC standards. Fast charging allows the battery to be charged from 10 to 70 percent in about 30 minutes.

In Indonesia, the VF MPV 7 is marketed at a price of IDR 420 million (including battery) and IDR 345 million with a battery subscription scheme in the Jakarta area. For subscription options, the monthly fee is set at IDR 880 thousand for mileage up to 2,000 km and IDR 1.35 million for use above 2,000 km per month.
