Three SUVs are improved, Honda insists on maintaining long-term commitment
JAKARTA - Honda in the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026 presents a series of product refreshes focused on increasing value, updating features that are more relevant to daily usage needs, and more competitive pricing structures in each segment, as part of efforts to strengthen consumer confidence in Honda products in Indonesia.
Through this approach, Honda emphasizes its product strategy which does not only focus on the launch of new models, but on the optimization of existing products to better suit the needs of diverse consumers, both in terms of comfort, ease of use, and long-term ownership value.
President Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor, Shugo Watanabe, revealed through Honda's participation in IIMS 2026, the company confirmed Honda's commitment to continue to listen to the needs of Indonesian consumers and present product development that is relevant to daily usage patterns.
"Every refresh we do starts from consumer input and market dynamics, so that we can continue to present products with better value, while maintaining the quality and trust that Honda has built in Indonesia in the long term," he said, when met at JIExpo Kemayoran, some time ago.
In line with the growth of the SUV segment in Indonesia, Honda makes the SUV line a main focus at IIMS 2026. Three SUV models are introduced with a refreshing approach that is tailored to the needs of consumers at different stages of life.
There is the New Honda WR-V aimed at consumers who are transitioning to the SUV segment for the first time, with design updates, improved connectivity and comfort features, and a more competitive price repositioning to increase accessibility.
In addition, the New Honda BR-V N7X Edition strengthens BR-V's role as a family SUV through a more robust and character appearance, while still maintaining the comfort, safety, and value foundations that have been trusted by Indonesian families.
Including the New Honda CR-V e:HEV, which presents hybrid technology options for loyal CR-V consumers, with a more efficient and comfortable electrification approach, without changing the premium character and driving comfort that is the hallmark of Honda's flagship SUV.
