The Scene Of Zahra's Wife's Conscience Is Considered Indecent, Netizens Protest

JAKARTA - Indosiar has been broadcasting the mega series Suara Hati Zahra's wife since 27 May. This soap opera stars Panji Saputra, Zora Vidyanata, Metta Permadi and Bryan Andrew. Panji Saputra who plays the character of Tirta with more than one wife.

One of them is the role of Zahra, who is told as the third wife of a man named Tirta, played by LC, who is 15 years old.

The keyword Suara Hati Zahra's wife had become a trending topic on Twitter on Tuesday, June 1 because the audience was busy protesting the soap opera. They were disturbed by the storyline which forced LC to have intimate scenes with the male lead, namely Panji Saputra who was 39 years old.

Warganet considered the soap opera as justifying the practice of pedophilia and forced early marriage. Twitter users asked the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission or KPI to lower this soap opera.

"Take down the drama Suara Hati Istri - Zahra. Is there a good idea? Why is it a drama that seems to teach pedophilia? Why don't you have the idea of making a film that teaches the dangers of pedophilia? Please tell the drama side if you want to cast people, take into account many parties," tweeted @whome.

VOI tried to ask for confirmation from Indosiar and KPI but there has been no official statement regarding the soap opera Suara Hati Istri Zahra which was protested by netizens.
