Petronas appoints Medco as PSC Cendramas operator

PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) through Medco Asia Pacific Limited was appointed as the operator of the Cendramas PSC by Petroliam Nasional Berhad or Petronas. This appointment was marked by the receipt of the appointment letter by Petronas.

Medco Energi Internasional President Director Hilmi Panigoro said that through the appointment, Medco became a joint operator with Dialog Resources Sdn. Bhd., and EnQuest Petroleum Production Malaysia Ltd.

"This appointment reflects Petronas' confidence in Medco Asia Pacific Limited as the PSC Cendramas operator," he said, Wednesday, February 11.

Hilmi also ensured that Medco was ready to cooperate with the appointed partners to carry out safe and reliable operations and maximize the value of assets.

"This appointment is subject to the implementation of the PSC and the Joint Operating Agreement as well as other preconditions set by Petronas," he said.
