Meta Launches Many New Features, Can Create Animations from Facebook Profile Photos
JAKARTA - Meta announced the launch of new features on Facebook powered by Meta AI, to make your expressions in profile photos, Feed uploads, and Stories more fun.
With Meta's new feature, you can now create animations from your profile photo, by applying preset animations such as natural, party hat, confetti, waves, and hearts.
Going forward, Meta promises to add more animation options throughout the year so you can celebrate and express yourself during seasonal moments and special events.
In addition, Meta also introduced the Restyle feature, which allows users to change the aesthetics of images in Stories and Memories using preset style options and text-based commands through Meta AI.
Users can choose from various categories such as:
Styles (e.g. anime or illustration) Moods (like glowy) Lighting (ethereal) Colors (cool or pink) Backdrops (beach or cityscape)Not to forget, Meta also presents an update for text uploads on the Feed, where users can add an animated backdrop to make posts more alive, such as a falling leaf background or ocean waves.
This feature is being rolled out gradually, and Meta plans to introduce seasonal themed backgrounds to make uploads feel more relevant and festive.
