Rampok Bercelurit Babak Belur Dikeroyok Massa Usai Rampas Kalung Emas Senilai Rp30 Juta di Pasar Pagi

JAKARTA - The Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit arrested two perpetrators of a robbery with the initials IU alias Ebot and WU alias Tokai after acting on Jalan Pasar Pagi, RT 03/02, Roa Malaka, Tambora, West Jakarta.

Tambora Police Chief AKP Wahyu Hidayat said the two perpetrators were arrested after committing a violent theft against the victim Irvan Roymastin (31).

The incident occurred when the victim was buying matches at a shop in the Morning Market area.

"Suddenly, two perpetrators approached the victim and immediately took away a white gold necklace weighing 15.13 grams worth approximately Rp. 30 million that the victim was wearing," said AKP Wahyu when confirmed, Wednesday, February 11.

The police chief explained that in carrying out their actions, the two perpetrators carried a sharp weapon of the type celurit.

The victim was surprised and immediately shouted for help. The screams attracted the attention of the surrounding residents, who then tried to secure the perpetrator.

There was tension because the perpetrator took out a machete and tried to fight the residents.

Fortunately, members of the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit who were carrying out a kring serse patrol around the location immediately came and secured the two perpetrators from the mob's rampage.

Furthermore, the perpetrator was taken to the Tambora Police for further investigation and legal process.

For their actions, the two perpetrators were charged with Article 479 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with violence.
