Prabowo Collects Five Tycoons in Hambalang, Discusses the Direction of the National Economy
BOGOR - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto received an audience with five national entrepreneurs at the Garudayaksa Training Center, Hambalang, Bogor, Tuesday, February 10 evening. The meeting was warm and full of teamwork as part of strengthening synergy between the government and the business world.
The audience, which lasted for approximately four hours, starting at 19.00 to 23.00 WIB, was marked by an open discussion about the national economic condition and the development opportunities of strategic sectors that have a direct impact on the community. This audience was held at the request of entrepreneurs to discuss directly with Prabowo.
The five national entrepreneurs who attended were Prajogo Pangestu (Barito Pacific Group), Anthony Salim (Salim Group), Franky Widjaja (Sinar Mas Group), Boy Thohir (Adaro Energy), and Sugianto Kusuma (Agung Sedayu Group).
During the meeting, Prabowo absorbed various inputs from business actors related to economic challenges and opportunities, as well as emphasizing the importance of close collaboration between the government and the business world through the spirit of Indonesia Incorporated to strengthen national competitiveness and accelerate development.
"Industrial development must have a direct impact on the people, create jobs, and strengthen the nation's independence," said Prabowo.
Prabowo also invited entrepreneurs to continue to collaborate in opening and expanding employment opportunities, strengthening the real sector, and encouraging the growth of MSMEs as the backbone of the national economy.
Responding to this, the entrepreneurs expressed their joint commitment to fully support the direction of Prabowo's government policy, ranging from poverty alleviation, improving the quality of nutrition and children's education, to the development of industries that are in the interests of the nation.
The evening meeting was not only a strategic discussion forum, but also a social gathering to synchronize steps in realizing inclusive, sustainable, and equitable economic growth for all Indonesian people.
