GoTo and MRT Launch Blok M Hub Gojek, Integration of Transportation and Digital Ecosystem
JAKARTA - PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) collaborated with PT MRT Jakarta, in launching the Gojek Blok M Hub, a Transit Oriented Area model that integrates public transportation and digital platforms.
This collaboration marks a concrete step for GoTo together with MRT Jakarta to facilitate urban residents' mobility, encourage the growth of MSMEs, and empower driver partners.
GoTo President Director and CEO Hans Patuwo, emphasized that the Gojek Blok M Hub is GoTo's effort to create an integrated digital ecosystem for the convenience of everyday community activities in the Blok M area.
"Our hope is that this cooperation can add convenience to people's activities, as well as provide benefits for driver partners and MSMEs," said Hans in his statement quoted Tuesday, February 10.
The implementation of the Blok M Hub Gojek focuses on three pillars, namely more comfortable transportation access to and from the Blok M area, making it easier for MSMEs to find customers with special curation on the GoFood application, and ease of digital payment using GoPay, including to buy MRT tickets.
"By directly connecting the MRT Jakarta station with the GoTo digital ecosystem, we encourage increased accessibility and activity in the Blok M Hub area, so that this area is increasingly alive as a comfortable and enjoyable destination for the community," added PT MRT Jakarta President Director Tuhiyat.
The cooperation between GoTo and MRT Jakarta through the Blok M Hub Gojek proves that integrated multi-modal integration can provide a more practical mobility experience while also encouraging the local economy.
