Poco X8 Pro Has Korean Certification, Launch Just Waiting for Time
JAKARTA - Poco is getting closer to releasing the latest generation of the X Series line to the global market. The Poco X8 Pro has just bagged certification from South Korea, strengthening the signal that its official launch is just a matter of weeks.
Based on the latest data, the Poco X8 Pro with model number 2511FPC34G has been approved by the South Korean Radio Research Agency (RRA) platform in December 2025. In the document, this device is listed as a smartphone made by Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd., with a SAR value of 0.863 / 1.6 W/kg. Although this certification does not reveal technical specifications, the move generally indicates that a device has entered the final stage before being marketed.
The certification in South Korea is not the only one. The Poco X8 Pro has previously also appeared in the NBTC Thailand database as well as the EEC in Europe. Interestingly, documents from Thailand indicate the existence of the Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Edition, which opens the opportunity for Poco to present special edition variants other than the standard version at launch. Both variants are said to use the same model number, hinting at core specifications that are identical to the differences in the design or software touch.
According to the leaked information, the Poco X8 Pro is predicted to carry an OLED screen of 6.59 inches with a resolution of 1,5K and a refresh rate of 120Hz, a combination that targets upper middle class users who want sharp and smooth visuals. In the hardware sector, this phone is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, combined with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for faster performance.
The memory configuration is said to be available up to 12GB of RAM with internal storage reaching 512GB. For photography needs, the Poco X8 Pro is expected to carry a 20-megapixel front camera, while the back is filled with a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
Durability and fast charging are also in the spotlight. This device is rumored to support fast charging up to 90W, a feature that is usually identical to high-performance mobile phones. As for the battery, the Poco X8 Pro is believed to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5. However, unlike the Redmi Turbo 5 which carries a 7,560 mAh battery, the Poco X8 Pro is expected to be equipped with a smaller capacity, around 6,500 mAh.
The latest report says Poco plans to launch the Poco X8 series globally in March 2026. Interestingly, this series is said to jump directly without presenting the standard version of Poco X8, and focuses on the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max.
With almost complete cross-country certification, aggressive specification leaks, and even an Iron Man edition that has been sniffed out, the Poco X8 Pro seems ready to be a new weapon in the mid-range killer segment. Now the question is not when he comes, but how hard it will hit the market.
