From Pandas to Live Music, Iftar at Royal Safari Garden is a Mini Vacation

BOGOR - Royal Safari Garden presents a different experience of breaking the fast this Ramadan through the Panda-themed Iftar program, combined with the atmosphere of the Chinese New Year celebration. This unique concept was introduced in the launch of the promo titled "Panda-themed Iftar Story".

Marketing Communication Manager of Royal Safari Garden, Dian Sagita Adriyani, said the panda theme was chosen because it was inspired by the birth of a panda baby named Satrio or Baby Rio which is currently viral at the Indonesian Safari Park.

"We chose the panda theme because now the birth of Baby Rio is viral. This is a special moment because Indonesia is the only country in Southeast Asia that has successfully given birth to a panda. So we want to present a panda-themed Iftar story while introducing a different experience to guests," said Dian, Saturday, February 7.

According to him, this program is not just a fast-breaking program, but a family recreation package. Visitors can come since 15.00 WIB to enjoy various activities of ngabuburit (Waiting time for Maghrib).

"Guests who have booked Iftar can enter the Royal Safari Garden area for free. They can feed Watusi, ride rides such as carousels, mini trains, and enjoy animal shows," he explained.

Before the time of breaking the fast, visitors are also offered a series of attractions such as animal performances, feeding elephants, to the opportunity to take photos with Zebras. After the magrib call to prayer, guests can enjoy unlimited meals at the restaurant with live music every day.

"With only Rp100 thousand, visitors can eat as much as they want from Maghrib to 20.30, plus various activities. We want to provide a different experience," said Dian.

The normal price during Ramadan is pegged at Rp. 125 thousand for weekdays and Rp. 150 thousand during weekends, while the early bird promo applies to a minimum of five people.

Not only Ramadan, Royal Safari Garden also presents the excitement of the Chinese New Year celebration because the time is close. Red-themed decorations and Chinese-style ornaments decorate the hotel and restaurant areas.

"Because Chinese New Year and Ramadan are very close in time, we celebrate both. There will be a parade of barongsai day and night, Chinese dance, and fire dance," he said.

Chinese New Year decorations will last until Cap Go Meh in early March, before being replaced with a fully Ramadan feel.

"We want all guests, both celebrating Chinese New Year and Ramadan, to be able to feel the warm and festive atmosphere here," concluded Dian.
