KLa Project Syukuri Age 37 Career, Wants to Continue Sharing Happiness

JAKARTA - KLa Project has successfully reached 37 years of age with strong musicality and chemistry. They just showed it in the LUX NOVA concert held Saturday, February 8 evening at Balai Sarbini, Jakarta.

The songs with a touch of new wave, synth pop, to alternative rock that they carry are not outdated by time. In fact, they are still able to perform a solo concert lasting almost three hours with energy.

The spirit apparently came from the gratitude of Katon Bagaskara, Romulo 'Lilo' Radjadin and Adi Adrian as musicians. The title LUX NOVA which means new light also shows KLa Project's intention to continue to be creative in music.

"We are grateful to be able to gather to celebrate 37 years. This is not about numbers, but how we enjoy the journey. Hopefully we can continue to 38, 39 years, and so on," said Katon Bagaskara in the tumpeng cutting procession shortly before the concert.

In this concert, they brought songs that are rarely performed to remember memories from the past. Special arrangements were also prepared, which felt more lively with the presence of the brass section.

On stage, Katon thanked the support given to loyal fans. He did not forget to be grateful for the mutual interaction and hoped to continue to share happiness.

"KLa's happiness is when our songs give happiness to those who listen. Because that will come back to us as energy. Isn't that the purpose of our living as humans?" said the vocalist.

The excitement of the concert was closed with Yogyakarta, an eternal song sung en masse with the penonotn. In this song they sang again with Sisca, one of the important parts at the beginning of the KLa Project journey.
