DPO Corruption Case for Clean Housing Facilities for Transmigration in Lamandau, Central Kalimantan Arrested

JAKARTA - The Central Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has arrested Nindyo Purnomo, a suspect in the corruption case of Non-Standard Clean Water Facility (SAB) Piping Improvement at the Kahingai Transmigration Settlement Unit, Lamandau Regency.

"This man has been designated as a DPO (list of people to be searched) since 2023 and after 3 years of escaping, he was finally secured to serve his sentence," said Head of the Legal Information Section of the Central Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office, Dodik Mahendra, in Palangka Raya, Sunday, quoted by Antara.

He revealed that DPO was successfully secured on Jalan Cumi-cumi, Bukit Tunggal Village, Jekan Raya District, Palangka Raya City, on Saturday, February 7 at around 09.30 WIB.

Previously, the Lamandau District Attorney's Office officially designated Nindyo Purnomo as a fugitive in connection with the SAB project corruption case.

The determination was made after the person concerned failed to meet the call to serve the remainder of his sentence.

The Public Prosecutor has searched for DPO Nindyo Purnomo by visiting the Lamandau Regency Manpower and Transmigration Office, where the defendant lives on Jalan Batu Batanggui and visiting the defendant's family in Palangka Raya City.

"However, the person concerned, Nindyo Purnomo, was not at the place or his whereabouts were unknown," he said.

Dodik explained that by securing the DPO, the convict Nindyo could serve the remainder of his sentence based on the decision of the panel of judges, namely two years in prison and Rp100 million in subsidies for six months in prison.
