Government Accelerates Industrialization, Prabowo Promises to Create Millions of New Jobs

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto emphasized the government's commitment to opening as many employment opportunities as possible for the Indonesian people through accelerating industrialization and the development of the national housing sector.

In the Mujahadah Kubro One Hundred Years of Nahdlatul Ulama through the Presidential Secretariat broadcast quoted by Antara, Sunday, February 8, said the government is determined to increase employment opportunities by reviving the national industry in the next two to three years.

"We are also determined to increase employment for the Indonesian people. We will also lead the industrialization of the Indonesian nation in the next 2-3 years," he said.

According to him, strengthening the industrial sector is the key to encouraging Indonesia to become a developed country, where all people can enjoy progress and a decent life.

He emphasized that industrialization is not only aimed at increasing economic growth, but also ensuring equitable welfare and sustainable job creation for the community.

Apart from industrial development, he also announced plans to build millions of low-cost houses for people in need.

The program is expected to improve the quality of life of the people while also driving the construction sector and other supporting industries.

"We will build millions of affordable houses for all our people who need them," he said.

The government, he continued, will integrate industrial and housing development as part of the national strategy to create jobs, strengthen people's purchasing power, and encourage inclusive economic growth.

He emphasized that all of these policies are aimed at realizing an advanced, independent, and prosperous Indonesia, with development that is felt by all levels of society.
