Motul Launches Latest Products at IIMS, Suitable for New Generation Technology Cars

JAKARTA - PT Motul Indonesia Energy (MIE) as the authorized distributor of Motul lubricants in Indonesia, also enlivened the IIMS exhibition with the launch of the latest product which is the result of the revamp of the Passenger Car Motor Oil (PCMO) product line.

Held at the Motul Booth, Gambir Expo area, the presence of this new product is an expression of Motul's commitment to presenting the latest technological lubricants, which continue to evolve and are relevant to the four-wheeled automotive market in Indonesia.

Managing Director of PT Motul Indonesia, Welmart Purba said that the development of car engine technology is increasingly complex. This requires Motul as a global lubricant brand to continue to meet lubrication needs while maintaining Motul's proven quality standards in the automotive industry globally.

"As the technology of vehicle engines becomes more modern, ranging from the application of downsizing, the use of turbochargers, to the demand for protection against the phenomenon of Low Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI), the performance standards of lubricants must also continue to evolve. API SQ is the answer to the needs of the latest engines that work at higher pressures and efficiencies," said Welmart, at the launch some time ago.

Motul's latest PCMO product has met the API SQ standard, the latest performance standard that has stricter requirements than the previous generation. This standard upgrade is designed to meet the needs of modern vehicles, which do require fuel efficiency (fuel economy) without sacrificing engine performance, which remains the top priority.

He revealed that the PCMO Motul engine oil line is quite complete with a variety of viscosity options, specifically designed to be compatible with the latest engine technologies.

"Lubricant development must follow the evolution of engine technology with performance standards that are constantly updated to adapt to the increasingly complex character of current engines," he added.

The PCMO Motul line-up that has been upgraded includes Multigrade Plus, Multipower Plus, H-Tech 100 Plus, NGEN Hybrid, and Motul 300V. The presence of these products also confirms Motul's readiness to follow the direction of the automotive industry's future development.

"Currently, the latest Motul PCMO product line is available in the market and will continue to be equipped in the near future to meet the needs of consumers in Indonesia more broadly," he concluded.
