The Late 2025 Flood Losses in Nagan Raya Aceh Reached IDR 1.1 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Nagan Raya Regency Government, Aceh Province, stated that the impact of damage caused by the flash flood disaster that occurred on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 was more than IDR 1.1 trillion.

"We have conveyed the data on damage and losses due to this flash flood disaster to the central government, we hope that all of these damages can be accommodated," said the Regent of Nagan Raya, Aceh, Teuku Raja Keumangan, accompanied by Deputy Regent Raja Sayang in Suka Makmue, Saturday, February 7, quoted by Antara.

He said that there were also details of damage due to natural disasters in Nagan Raya, namely consisting of residential damage of more than IDR 131 billion, infrastructure sector damage of more than IDR 572.7 billion, economic impact damage of more than IDR 278.8 billion.

Then in the social sector by more than Rp75.9 billion, and cross-sectoral damage by more than Rp39.6 billion.

Teuku Raja Keumangan said that his party is currently also continuing to communicate and coordinate with BNPB and the Aceh Government, to report on every development after the flash flood disaster which caused various infrastructure and community settlements to be damaged.

His party hopes that the reporting of the damage will later be considered by the government, in order to rebuild a number of infrastructure and facilities that were damaged by flash floods.

Previously, the Nagan Raya Regency Government, Aceh Province, ensured that as many as 25,608 people or 8,325 households in the local area were affected by flash floods that occurred on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

The flash flood disaster in Nagan Raya, Aceh, also caused three people to be missing and one person to die.

In addition, the number of public facilities and infrastructure that suffered heavy, moderate and light damage due to flash floods in Nagan Raya, Aceh includes 29 offices, three houses of worship, 12 traditional dayahs/pesantren.

Then 46 schools and 4 health service facilities. In addition, 7 road points and three bridge units have also been listed.

Meanwhile, the number of houses affected by flash flood disasters includes 1,807 units consisting of 487 houses reported to be severely damaged, 283 houses in moderate condition, and 1,043 houses in mild condition.
