KPK Detains Blueray Cargo Owner John Field
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) announced that it had detained the owner of PT Blueray Cargo (BR) as well as a suspect in the alleged bribery and gratification case related to the import of KW goods in the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the Ministry of Finance, namely John Field (JF).
KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo explained that the arrest was made after the anti-corruption agency investigated John Field.
"After the examination was completed, the investigators detained JF for the first 20 days," Budi told journalists in Jakarta, Saturday.
Thus, six suspects in the case have been detained by the KPK.
Meanwhile, he said John Field, who had fled and then surrendered, underwent a cooperative examination, and provided the information needed by investigators.
Previously, on February 4, 2026, the KPK confirmed that it had carried out a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) in the environment of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise of the Ministry of Finance.
On the same date, the KPK revealed that one of the people arrested in the OTT was the Head of the West Sumatra DJBC Regional Office, Rizal.
On February 5, 2026, the KPK announced that six of the 17 people arrested were later named as suspects in the alleged bribery and gratification case related to the import of KW goods in the DJBC environment.
They are Rizal (RZL) as the Director of Enforcement and Investigation of DJBC for the period 2024-January 2026, Head of the Subdirectorate of Intelligence Enforcement and Investigation of DJBC Sisprian Subiaksono (SIS), and Head of the Intelligence Section of DJBC Orlando Hamonangan (ORL).
Next is Blueray Cargo owner John Field (JF), Chairman of the Blueray Cargo Import Documentation Team Andri (AND), and Blueray Cargo Operations Manager Dedy Kurniawan (DK).
