Latest Iran-US Nuclear Talks in Oman End
JAKARTA - Iranian state media reported the end of the latest round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States (US) in Oman, with both delegations scheduled to return to their respective capitals.
An Iranian state media reporter accompanying the Iranian delegation said talks with the US had ended "temporarily" after lasting several hours through indirect negotiations.
The state-run IRNA news agency also confirmed the end of the latest round, saying the assessment showed "an understanding to continue negotiations".
According to the report, in a session that began since Friday morning, the Iranian and US negotiating delegations presented their views, considerations, and approaches through the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Badr Albusaidi.
The round has ended and the next round is expected to be held in the next few days.
Iran and the US resumed indirect nuclear diplomacy on Friday (6/2) after weeks of escalating tensions, following military action threats from US President Donald Trump against Tehran.
