Message From The Chairperson Of The KPK During The Inauguration Of Employees On Pancasila Day: Corruptors Are Traitors Of Pancasila

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri inaugurated 1,271 KPK employees to switch status as ASN right on Pancasila's Birthday, June 1.

Firli has a reason for inaugurating KPK employees as ASN today. He explained that Pancasila is the ideology and basic philosophy and way of life of the nation.

"As the ideology of the nation and state, the spirit of Pancasila values has been proven to always save this country from various national problems that seem to come and go. Where the social situation is vulnerable to fragmentation," said Firli at the KPK building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Tuesday. , June 1st.

Firli said, Pancasila was able to adapt to every development of the era to provide strength for the nation in dealing with problems. One of them is corrupt behavior and corruption that is latent in this country.

"Again, we remind all Indonesians, wherever they are, that anyone who commits corruption is a traitor to Pancasila, considering that this crime against humanity is clearly against every point of Pancasila," said Firli.

Firli explained, the first precept, namely "Belief in One Supreme God," reminds everyone to remember the value of divinity by leaving behind bad things such as corrupt behavior.

By avoiding this behavior, the second precept will be realized, namely to become a just and civilized human being. By becoming a just and civilized human being, the third precept of "Indonesian Unity" will be realized.

"To be effective, measurable, fast and efficient, this war against latent corruption should be done with wisdom and wisdom, as the essence of the fourth principle of Pancasila," said Firli.

"The joint war against corruption that is entrenched in this country, of course, is to realize social justice for all Indonesian people as enshrined in the fifth principle of Pancasila," he continued.

For information, Firli Bahuri officially inaugurated 1,271 employees who had passed the National Insight Test (TWK) as ASN employees. A total of 53 employees were appointed in the room. Meanwhile, the rest took part in the online inauguration to maintain health protocols.

After reading the oath of office, KPK employees who currently have ASN status signed an integrity pact.

After that, KPK employees who are appointed by ASN will get an Employee Identification Number (NIP) through a decision letter to become ASN issued by KPK leaders.
