Targeting the Middle East Market, Indospring Expands Export Expansion

PT Indospring Tbk (INDS), as a leading automotive component manufacturer in Indonesia, is targeting the Middle East market to expand its export reach in the future. This step is part of the Company's strategy to strengthen sustainable business growth.

Director of PT Indospring Tbk, Bob Budiono, said that the Middle East market was considered to have great potential and was relevant to the Company's product portfolio. He assessed that the characteristics of the market in the region had many similarities with Indonesia, especially in terms of commercial vehicles.

"We see that the Middle East market has characteristics similar to Indonesia, especially in the dominance of Japanese brand trucks that have identical specifications and models. Therefore, the Company's strategy this year will focus on expanding exports to the Middle East and Central Asia regions to strengthen sustainable business growth," he said, Friday, February 6.

Currently, the Company's revenue segment comes from three main markets, namely the domestic OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) market, the after market or replacement spare parts market, and the export market. Diversifying the market is an important foundation in maintaining the stability and sustainability of the Company's business performance.

In terms of the domestic market, this year the Company focuses on the Fastener (U-bolt) product line for the aftermarket. However, the Company continues to open additional investment opportunities to produce non-automotive fasteners as part of future business development.

"This strategy is in line with the Company's target to break into the top three in the domestic market, as well as making it the main growth engine in the future," explained Bob.

The Company's optimism is also supported by performance that continues to show an upward trend. Until the third quarter of 2025, the Company managed to record net sales of IDR 2.46 trillion, reflecting the solid market demand for Indospring products.

Going forward, the Company believes that the motorcycle spare parts market will continue to grow in line with the positive outlook for the national automotive industry. Based on data from the Indonesian Motor Vehicle Industry Association (Gaikindo), the projection for national car sales in 2026 is estimated at 850,000 units, or an increase of around 5.4% compared to the 2025 realization which was recorded at 803,687 units.

With the export market expansion strategy and strengthening the domestic market, Indospring is optimistic that it can maintain the momentum of growth and strengthen its position in the automotive components industry, both domestically and in the global market.
