PT BREXA Raya Indonesia Inaugurates BREXA Academy CrossBorder-Bogor, Japanese Language Training Center with a Capacity of 1,000 Participants
JAKARTA - PT BREXA Raya Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as BREXA Indonesia) held the inauguration of BREXA Academy CrossBorder-Bogor on February 5, 2026 in Bogor Regency, Indonesia. This event was attended by representatives from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, namely the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, the Ministry of Manpower, the Ministry of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers, and the Ministry of Investment and Industrialization/Investment Coordinating Board.
Also present at the event were around 100 representatives from educational institutions as recruitment partners from Jabodetabek and other regions, as well as 200 training participants who are currently participating in the Japanese language training program at BREXA Academy CrossBorder.
BREXA Academy CrossBorder - Bogor is a training facility that aims to prepare Indonesian Human Resources (HR) to develop their potential in Japan, with a capacity to accommodate up to 1,000 training participants. With the operation of this facility, and together with the other 10 BREXA Academy CrossBorder that have operated previously, BREXA Indonesia is now able to provide Japanese language training on an ongoing basis for around 3,000 training participants.
Currently, Japan is facing a serious structural challenge in the form of labor shortages due to declining birth rates and increasing numbers of elderly people. Based on projections of demographic trends, it is estimated that by 2030 there will be a labor shortage of about 6 million people, and by 2040, when the working-age population decreases drastically, the labor supply shortage is estimated to reach about 10 million people.
In this unprecedented situation, which can be called "a society with limited labor supply", the presence of foreign workers who are young and highly motivated to contribute to the Japanese labor market is an extremely important factor in maintaining and developing industries and social infrastructure in Japan.
BREXA Indonesia started the Japanese language training business and supported Indonesian human resources to develop their potential in Japan since 2015, and until the end of January 2026 has supported around 11,000 Indonesian human resources to develop their potential in Japan. In 2030, BREXA Indonesia targets to reach around 40,000 people to have the opportunity to develop their potential in Japan.
In the future, BREXA Indonesia will continue to develop comprehensive integrated services, ranging from recruitment processes, training, to support after developing its potential in Japan, by utilizing the company's internal resources.
Recruitment
"We are partnering directly with around 200 Vocational High Schools and Universities across Indonesia, and actively holding seminars, especially in areas with limited access to information. Through this effort, we want to provide opportunities for Indonesian people in all regions to develop their potential in Japan."
In addition, this initiative is also expected to contribute to the elimination of exploitative intermediary practices, and we are also working to increase transparency across the industry.
Training
The distinctive feature of Japanese training at BREXA Indonesia is the development of practical conversational skills. BREXA Indonesia employs 10 Japanese teachers and consistently emphasizes direct conversation practice with native speakers.
"In addition, we also pay great attention to understanding Japanese culture as well as the formation of attitudes and work ethics, using original learning materials owned by BREXA Indonesia to ensure the provision of training that is always relevant and up-to-date. At BREXA Academy CrossBorder, we implement a full boarding school system (boarding school) and provide the necessary consumption, so that it can provide opportunities for Indonesian human resources who have limited financial conditions to develop their potential in Japan. "
