Prabowo was greeted by Yel-yel when he arrived at Kertanegara to celebrate Gerindra's birthday.

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto, who is also the Chairman of the Gerindra Party, was greeted by the cadres when he arrived at his residence, Jalan Kertanegara Number 4, Jakarta, for the Gerindra Party's 18th Anniversary (HUT).

Prabowo arrived using his vehicle, the white-colored Pindad Maung Garuda, at around 18.54 WIB, Friday, February 6. The yel-yel was voiced by his cadres who lined up in front of the gate of his residence.

"We gather at Kertanegara 4 in the context of thanksgiving and safety for the 18th Anniversary of the Gerindra Party which will be led directly by the General Chairman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Prabowo," said Gerindra Secretary General Sugiono when interviewed at the location reported by ANTARA.

After Prabowo's vehicle entered the area of his residence, the cadres also entered the location. They wore white safari shirts and cream pants, as the typical clothes of Gerindra cadres.

He said that in fact the location of the event was quite limited, but there were still many Gerindra members in Jakarta who attended. In essence, he said Gerindra wanted to gather to strengthen the unity and listen to the direction from Prabowo.

According to him, the 18th anniversary event was held at Prabowo's residence because he wanted it to be simple. He also realized that there were still brothers who were still experiencing the impact of disasters in various regions.

"The instructions yesterday I conveyed to carry out activities that are social in nature, yes. But later there may be further instructions on what to do," he said.
