BASS3 Reveals Character through New Single Titled 3WARNA
JAKARTA - The music project led by three cross-generational bass players, BASS3, is back showing its fangs in the Indonesian music scene.
After introducing their musical identity through their first work, the trio consisting of Roedyanto Wasito (Emerald), Bintang Indrianto, and Rindra Noor (Padi Reborn) released their second single titled "3WARNA".
This work is also an authentic proof that the bass instrument is not only a rhythm keeper, but is able to become the main narrator in a complete musical composition.
The song "3WARNA" is a real representation of the fusion of the unique characters of each bassist. In its composition, the listener will be presented with a precise division of harmony between the three different bass devices.
Roedyanto contributed to the thickness of the groove which became a strong foundation, while Bintang Indrianto gave a touch of artistic tones that were exploratory. On the other hand, Rindra complements the dynamics with a strong and emotional melody.
One thing that caught the attention in this single is the courage to insert vocal elements from the three bass players. Unlike the format of the band in general, the vocals here are not present as the dominant element, but rather as a complement to the harmony that sweetens the chorus.
"In this song, we tried to insert the voices of the three of us. It's just a way of adding color and atmosphere to complete the chorus, so that the message feels more organic and intimate for the listener," said Bintang in his statement, Friday, February 6.
The presence of BASS3 seems to give a fresh wind to the Indonesian music industry which is currently exploring genres. "3WARNA" is not just a showcase of instrument playing techniques, but an artistic statement about how differences in character and background can unite in beautiful harmony.
For information, this single is already available and can be enjoyed on various digital streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
