Kiki Narendra Reveals the Challenge of Playing the Sinetron "Family That Is Not Missed"

JAKARTA - Actor Kiki Narendra has ventured into the world of soap operas by starring in MD TV and Netflix's latest soap opera, Keluarga yang Tdak Dirindukan. He plays the role of father Santoso in this series.

"Maybe what distinguishes this is very long. In the sense that my series is at most only 8 episodes. This must maintain endurance for months with a family drama like this, for me it is a challenge in itself," said Kiki Narendra in a press conference in Central Jakarta on Friday, February 6.

The 44-year-old actor explained that he wanted to star in the soap opera because he wanted to try something new. Even so, the production process of this soap opera is not much different from filming a movie.

"Why did I take this project? Because it's true that this is the first time I've taken a soap opera series like this. It feels like trying something new will definitely be very exciting," he explained.

"Making any work is never easy, the easy thing is just the comment. But our responsibility as players, crew, producers are all the same: we want to give the best to the audience," said Kiki Narendra.

The soap opera "Family That Is Not Missed" also marks MD TV's latest collaboration with Netflix as the world's most popular streaming platform.

The Family That Wasn't Missed tells the story of a family who thinks their lives are going well, until an incident changes their view of each other.

Meanwhile, the soap opera "Family That Is Not Missed" will air starting February 13 simultaneously on MD TV and Netflix.
