OTT Judge, Regarding the Increase in the Palace Salary, Emphasizes that it Will Continue

JAKARTA - The KPK carried out a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) of judges in Depok. This is certainly in the public spotlight because not long ago President Prabowo Subianto raised the salaries of judges.

The Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi explained that this did not affect the decision to increase the salaries of judges.

This was conveyed by Prasetyo Hadi to reporters at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Friday, February 6.

Prasetyo admitted that the increase in salaries did not automatically eliminate corruption practices in the judiciary. However, the policy is still seen as an important effort to close the gap for corruption.

Prasetyo Hadi also explained that the OTT cases that are still happening are the work of individuals, not a reflection of policy failures.
