BPJT Records 423 Improvement Points on the Japek Toll Road until January 2026
JAKARTA - The Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works (PU) noted that as many as 423 repair points were carried out on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road (Japek) until January 26, 2026.
Quoted from the upload on the official Instagram account @pupr_bpjt, Friday, February 6, the repair at 423 Japek Toll points was carried out through the patching or patching method.
"116 total patching points (January 23, 2026), 51 total patching points (January 24, 2026), 145 total patching points (January 25, 2026) and 116 total patching points (January 26, 2026)," wrote the Instagram account.
The patching or patching of the hole is carried out gradually, namely a quick handling using cold mix asphalt and then continued with permanent patching using hot mix asphalt.
The method is a quick handling to minimize disruption to traffic flow.
Not only on the Japek Toll Road, BPJT also noted the repair of damaged points on a number of other toll roads, such as the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road and the JORR Non S Toll Road.
For the Tangerang Merak Toll, at least four points were repaired through different methods, namely scrapping-filling-overlay (SFO). In detail, the four points are spread over KM 26+680 s/d 26+758, KM 29+695 s/d 29+586, KM 29+887 s/d 29+808 and KM 35+400.
The method is a long-term pavement treatment carried out comprehensively on one segment of the road, including stripping the old surface layer, leveling it back and re-coating it.
This was done to improve the flatness of the road surface and maintain the performance of the pavement.
Meanwhile, for the JORR Non S Toll Road, at least 297 points were carried out through the patching method.
The details are, 44 total patching points (January 23, 2026), 108 total patching points (January 23, 2026), 29 total patching points (January 24, 2026), 79 total patching points (January 24, 2026) and 37 total patching points (January 25, 2026).
"This improvement is expected to maintain the reliability of toll road services in supporting community mobility and the smooth running of economic activities," he added.
