iPhone 17e Will Arrive on February 19 with Four Major Updates
Apple will launch the latest entry-level iPhone in the near future. According to leaks from various sources, the iPhone 17e which is the successor to the iPhone 16e will be released on February 19.
This device is the successor to the 'SE' series which has been completely lost since the iPhone 16e was introduced to the global market last year. As expected, the iPhone 17e will come with a number of improvements compared to the previous generation.
The Information report notes that the iPhone 17e will support MagSafe wireless charging. This is a fairly big change because the iPhone 16e doesn't have this ability.
A number of other major changes were also reported by Macotakara, a Japanese website. The iPhone 17e is reported to use a more powerful processor, the A19 chip. This processor is expected to offer smoother and more modern performance.
In addition to the upgraded processor, Apple also replaced the entry-level iPhone modem. The phone will use the latest C1X modem to improve the quality of data connections for users.
The modem has speeds up to twice as fast as the original version used in the previous generation. In addition, Apple also embeds the N1 network chip into the device.
This chip can optimize the performance of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Thread protocols to be more stable and efficient. Although there are a number of updates from the component side, the iPhone 17e is predicted to still use the old design with a notch and one rear camera.
