BPJS Kesehatan: Activation of Inactive PBI Can Be Through Dinsos/Faskes
BPJS Kesehatan said that the management of the re-activation of National Health Insurance (JKN) participants in the Income Assistance (PBI) segment who are inactive can be carried out through the Social Service (Dinsos) or facilitated by health facilities (Faskes).
"The first is to visit the Social Service. So, inactive participants can immediately come to Dinsos or actually can go through Faskes. The health center or clinic can help sick participants to immediately contact the Social Service," said Head of Public Relations BPJS Kesehatan, Rizzky Anugerah, reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 6. After visiting the Social Service, said Rizzky, the Social Service will then coordinate with the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) for the verification process of membership before activation is carried out.
Previously, the Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos), Saifullah Yusuf explained that there were indeed changes in the status of PBI-JK membership. A number of participants were deactivated and their membership was transferred to those who needed it more, due to data updates.
The Ministry of Social Affairs confirmed that the process of deactivation and transfer of PBI-JK membership to those who need it more had begun since last year, as part of updating data to ensure more targeted assistance. In this case, 25 thousand participants who meet the requirements have also been reactivated as PBI-JK participants.
However, if it is found that the disabled participant is entitled to receive and meet the requirements in this case is listed in Desil 1-4 National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN), his participation can be reactivated through the PBI-JK reactivation process carried out by the local government through the local Social Service.
"In order to finance it, the government is responsible, if it is indeed from a family that is in Desil 1 to Desil 4 or a family that has been determined by the local government as a family that is eligible to receive assistance, we will help the process," he said.
