OJK Presents the Projection of the Financial Services Sector in 2026

JAKARTA - Member of the Board of Commissioners (ADK) for the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Friderica Widyasari Dewi explained a number of projections for the outlook of the financial services sector in 2026.

He expressed confidence that the positive trend in the performance of the financial services sector would continue in 2026, considering various challenges, opportunities, and policies that have been and will be taken.

In the banking sector, the OJK projects credit growth of 10-12 percent on an annual basis (year on year/yoy) in 2026.

"This is supported by the growth of third-party funds (DPK) of the banking sector of 7-9 percent (yoy)," he said at the 2026 Financial Services Industry Annual Meeting (PTIJK), quoted Friday, February 6.

Meanwhile, in the insurance sector, insurance program assets are estimated to grow by 5-7 percent (yoy) in 2026.

Meanwhile, pension fund assets are projected to increase by 10-12 percent (yoy), and insurance program assets are estimated to increase by 14-16 percent (yoy).

For financing companies, financing receivables are projected to record growth of 6-8 percent (yoy) in 2026.

In the capital market, OJK targets fund collection to reach Rp. 250 trillion by 2026. In addition, the total demand for credit scores through the innovative credit scoring scheme is estimated to reach 200 million requests.

The value of transactions through aggregators is also projected to grow to Rp. 27 trillion by 2026. Meanwhile, the number of consumers of digital financial assets and crypto assets (AKD-AK) is targeted to increase by 26 percent.

The woman, who is familiarly called Kiki, emphasized that OJK will conduct periodic reviews of the outlook to keep it in line with the development of the national economy.

To realize all these targets, he emphasized the importance of synergy and collaboration from all stakeholders to support the achievement of Indonesia's economic growth target in 2026.
