KPK Holds OTT Again, This Time in Depok

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) again held a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) today, February 5. This enforcement activity is said to have been carried out in the Depok area, West Java.

"It is true that there was an arrest in the Depok area," said Deputy Chairman of the KPK Fitroh Rohcahyanto when confirmed by reporters, Thursday, February 5.

Fitroh has not further detailed the hand-to-hand arrest. Usually, the party who is caught by OTT will be taken to the KPK Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta to undergo an intensive examination.

Then, the KPK has 1x24 hours according to the law to determine the suspects. The announcement will usually be made through a press conference.

The KPK has just held two silent operations this week, namely related to tax levy bribes and money-related imports at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC).

The operation to arrest the hand related to the retribusi bribe was carried out in the South Kalimantan region targeting the Banjarmasin Deputy KPP. Three people have been named as suspects, namely Mulyono as the Head of the Banjarmasin Deputy KPP Mulyono; Dian Jaya Demega as the fiscal who is a member of the Inspection Team from the Banjarmasin Deputy KPP and Venasius Jenarus Gengger or Venzo as the Financial Manager of PT Buana Karya Bhakti (BKB).

Meanwhile, the OTT DJBC has not been officially announced. However, one of the parties secured was Rizal who was newly inaugurated as the West Sumatra DJBC Kakanwil on October 28, 2025. He had previously served as the Director of Investigation and Enforcement (P2) of the DJBC Ministry of Finance.
