Minister of Finance Purbaya denies the issue of replacing Thomas-Juda, questioning Juda Agung's ability to replace Thomas

JAKARTA - Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa again denied the 'palace coup' between Thomas Djiwandono and Juda Agung.

This was emphasized by Minister of Finance Purbaya at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Thursday, February 5 after the inauguration of Juda Agung as Wamenkeu.

Previously, Juda Agung served as Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia. After resigning, Thomas Djiwandono who previously served as Wamenkeu is now sitting as Deputy Bank Indonesia.

Minister of Finance Purbaya reasoned that he accepted Juda Agung because of his ability to replace Thomas' duties.

Instead of 'changing the position', the Minister of Finance Purbaya called the moment of exchanging the positions of Thomas Djiwandono with Juda Agung as a change of place.
