DFSK Opens a New Chapter in Indonesia Through Global Drives for Better and New Logo

JAKARTA - PT Sokonindo Automobile which oversees the DFSK brand in Indonesia officially introduced its latest global logo and slogan 'Drives for Better', which marks a new phase of DFSK's journey in Indonesia and at the same time confirms the company's long-term commitment to the national automotive market.

For DFSK, its presence and investment in Indonesia is a long-term strategic choice, not a tactical decision. Since its early entry into the Indonesian market, DFSK has made a comprehensive, sustainable, and future-oriented direct investment.

This is realized through the development of a manufacturing base with a high level of automation, spare parts storage facilities, and sustainable investment to support the development of the new energy vehicle industry.

This global identity update strengthens Indonesia's position as an important foundation for the development of DFSK's business and regional strategy in Southeast Asia," said Chief Operating Officer of PT Sokonindo Automobile, Franz Wang, in his speech at the IIMS 2026 exhibition, in Kemayoran, Jakarta, Thursday, February 5.

As part of this commitment, DFSK continues to record various important milestones as a mobility solution provider. Indonesia is not only a production base to meet domestic needs, but also a center for exports to various countries, making DFSK products local products with global quality standards.

In the development of electric vehicles, DFSK has recorded significant achievements through Gelora E, the pioneer of light commercial electric vehicles in Indonesia. Gelora E is produced with a Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of 44 percent which reflects DFSK's active role in building and shaping the national electric vehicle ecosystem without waiting for the market to mature.

The update of DFSK's logo and slogan marks a new phase as a more confident and progressive brand, based on more than two decades of experience in the global automotive industry. Indonesia is one of the initial markets in the inauguration of DFSK's latest global identity.

Through the slogan "Drives for Better", the Chinese manufacturer emphasizes the transformation from a functional vehicle manufacturer to a provider of smarter, greener, and more relevant mobility solutions for today's needs.
