Toyota Launches Latest Hybrid Lineup and Unveils New Veloz Hybrid Price at IIMS 2026
JAKARTA - PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) again emphasized its ongoing commitment to grow together with the Indonesian people. At the Indonesia International Motor Show 2026 which took place at JIExpo Kemayoran on February 5-15, 2026, Toyota officially launched the latest affordable Hybrid EV lineup, namely the New Vios Hybrid EV, New Yaris Cross G Hybrid EV, and New Alphard XE Hybrid EV.
On the same occasion, Toyota also announced the official prices of all types of New Veloz Hybrid EV. This Indonesian family flagship MPV is now available as the most affordable Full Hybrid EV in its class, while expanding public access to Toyota's efficient, comfortable, and easy-to-use electrification technology for daily activities.
"As a Mobility Company that has accompanied the community for 55 years, we are committed to providing mobility solutions that provide Peace of Mind from generation to generation. Through the expansion of the increasingly complete line-up of Hybrid EV, including the presence of New Veloz Hybrid EV as the most affordable Full Hybrid EV in its class, we want to ensure that environmentally friendly electrification technology can be accessed by more Indonesian families, without changing driving habits and sacrificing comfort," said President Director of TAM Takuya Yokohama, at the IIMS 2026 event, Thursday, February 5.
Throughout its presence in Indonesia, Toyota has also created a multiplier effect for the national economy. To date, Toyota has invested more than IDR 100 trillion, operates five factories, and about 90 percent of its domestic sales are produced domestically.
In order to expand the adoption of hybrid technology, Toyota presents the New Vios Hybrid EV as the first entry-level sedan with a 1.5L CVT hybrid engine. This model is equipped with a 10-inch head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charger, panoramic view monitor, and Toyota Safety Sense to increase driving comfort and safety.
Toyota also introduced the New Yaris Cross G Hybrid EV as a more affordable hybrid SUV for daily mobility needs, as well as the New Alphard XE Hybrid EV which offers a premium experience with more competitive value. On the Alphard and Vellfire lines, Toyota added side step features to make it easier for passengers, especially the elderly and children, to get on and off, while Vellfire still maintains Rear Seat Entertainment.
The presence of these three new Hybrid EV models underscores Toyota's commitment to providing a wider and more accessible range of environmentally friendly vehicle options. Underlining the commitment of Hybrid EV for Everyone and Everywhere, Toyota also officially markets the New Veloz Hybrid EV as the most affordable Full Hybrid EV in its class.

At the same time, we officially market the New Veloz Hybrid EV as the new mobility standard for Indonesian families.
