Buy Transjakarta Tickets Now Directly on the GoPay App

JAKARTA - GoPay introduces a new and practical way for people to buy Transjakarta tickets. Through the 'Travel and Transportation' category in the GoPay application, TransJakarta tickets can now be purchased directly without having to switch applications.

Head of GoPay Wallet, Kelvin Timotius, said GoPay provides access to various non-financial services, including purchasing Transjakarta tickets practically in one application.

"We hope that this collaboration between GoPay and Transjakarta can make it easier for Jakarta residents to move. Through various existing services, GoPay has evolved beyond being a service to an integrated platform with the lifestyle of Indonesian people," he said in a written statement, Thursday, February 5.

As part of the GoTo ecosystem, GoPay's collaboration with Transjakarta is also a continuation of GoTo's commitment to creating an easy and convenient public transportation ecosystem so that it becomes the public's choice for traveling.

Transjakarta President Director, Welfizon Yuza, welcomed the collaboration with GoPay to expand the channel for purchasing Transjakarta tickets.

"This initiative is part of Transjakarta's steps to continue to take further steps in providing services that are increasingly accessible, while encouraging more people to switch to public transportation for a more comfortable Jakarta mobility," he said.

In the context of launching cooperation and supporting the Public Transportation Wednesday program organized by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, GoPay provides a special promo in the form of GoPay cashback 3,500 coins for every first purchase of a Transjakarta ticket through the GoPay application.

This momentum is expected to encourage the public to use public transportation not only every Wednesday, but also every day. The promotion is valid from February 2 - February 28, 2026.

The way to buy and use the Transjakarta ticket on the GoPay application is as follows:

1. Open the GoPay application, on the main page click ‘View All Features’,

2. Choose Transjakarta

3. Complete the payment using GoPay

4. QR Ticket will automatically appear in the GoPay application

5. Visit the Transjakarta stop, and do Scan In/Scan Out QR Ticket at the Gate/Reader available

Tickets purchased through the GoPay application are currently only valid for Transjakarta regular bus (BRT) services and not for Non-BRT, Mikrotrans, and Royaltrans buses.
