Two Police Reports Make Inara Rusli Depressed
JAKARTA - Facing two police reports and child custody at the same time put a lot of mental pressure on Inara Rusli. His lawyer, Daru Quthny, confirmed that his client is currently "mentally ill".
"Well, this is when you talk about mental, of course, it's mental, Inara, right," said Daru in South Jakarta, Wednesday, February 4.
This pressure was further exacerbated by the insults from the public, especially after he was made difficult to meet his children.
"Plus the last one he didn't come to his son... the pressure was quite good," he continued.
Despite being in a depressed state, Inara did not give up trying to find a peaceful way. He insisted on continuing to pursue Restorative Justice (Restorative Justice or RJ).
Even though the submission of his RJ at the police level has been rejected by the Mawa party, Inara will not stop.
"RJ is still there until this case is taken to where it wants to go," said Daru.
According to him, if the case later goes up to the Attorney General's Office (P21), they will reapply for RJ at that level.
"For example, if he has already risen to P21, we can also do RJ at the Prosecutor's Office," he explained.
Inara's persistence in pursuing peace is based on one main consideration: the future of children. She does not want this conflict to be a bad precedent and leave a dark digital footprint for them.
"This will be a memory if this finally reaches the level of punishment... this is for ever and it affects the growth and development of children," he said.
