Re;LiZE Sentil Para NPD in the Latest Release, Akusentris

JAKARTA - Tangerang-based band Re;LiZE introduced their latest music work titled Akusentris at the end of January. They offer a cynical groovy funk feel as a signature in this song.

Akusentris became a medium for criticism of narcissistic behavior that often occurs in social and personal relationships. The band, which consists of Rage (Lead Guitar), Haikal (Keyboardist), Dannis (Bass), Vara (Vocal), and Liza (Vocal/Rhythm), describes the anxiety of individuals who place themselves at the center of everything - thirst for validation, lack of empathy, and often leave emotional impact on those around them.

"Actually this song was written because we want to let our surroundings know that there are people who, whatever happens, must be 'Me', so he is the center of everything. And that's honestly what I felt at the beginning of that time," said Rage, guitarist and songwriter.

The recording process for this song was carried out in two different places. The members revealed that there were new challenges and ideas that colored the development of the single.

"For vocals, it's pretty challenging. Because in the middle of the work, suddenly there was an idea to change the concept of the vocal duo. So we take it again in Chamber's Chamber. The time to record is also pretty tricky, with the busy members.

"The idea came to me when I watched and listened to Re;LiZE's live performance videos again and finally I decided to be the layers of sweetness in this acoustic vocal. Cape is honest, for traveling back and forth to make this song, but it's really worth it," said vocalist Liza.

Re;LiZE has also been involved in the J-Pop music scene since its inception, because all members of the members love pop-culture and music from Japan. The single "Akusentris" can now be enjoyed on all digital music platforms.
